Alison Archer
What I enjoy most about life is the way things overlap and inspire each other and me. I find inspiration in quirks, nature, music and texture.
Working up an image of a lacy leaf skeleton, say, as a single small project is as exciting as a long term one. I work in most fields but return most often to print in one form or another, though things frequently coincide. Artist's books are a great way to combine ideas.

My creative path resembles an untidy octopus or an equally messy Venn diagram.

A very brief word about the different printing methods I use: cyanotype is best for shape, gelliprinting is great for texture, and ecoprints use pressure and heat. They are all wonderfully unpredictable.
